Wow this is the first 1969 Mercury Cougar REAL DEAL Eliminator that we have ever had come into our dealership. It is powered by what we were told to be its original 351 4bb V8 290HP engine, and backed up by a FMX 3 speed automatic transmission, followed by 3:25-1 factory gears. This car Screams muscle with its original Medium blue metallic paint color and its hood scoop, GT rims, and front and rear spoiler toping it off. It original white bucket seat with full console and working factory tachometer interior appears to be in original condition and looks very presentable. The body on this Eliminator is laser straight and has a good solid foundation and body. The paint is older and has been buffed to a nice shine but it also shows imperfections on the mettalic in the paint being blotchy and some sand marks due to the old age of the paint. To be a show quality car it should be repainted but this car looks so nice as it sits to be a stunning driver I wouldnt touch it! The previous owner added 4 wheel disk brakes to its factory option list being power steering, unique instrument panel with Tachometer, Rally clock, Anti Lift front spoiler, rear deck air foil spoiler, Hood Scoop, Body Side Eliminator Tape, Racing mirrors, Eliminator Decor Group, Rim blow steering wheel, custom door trim, sequential tail lights, dual exhaust, GT rims, Working Hideaway Headlights and much more. This is a beautiful example of a very hard to find driver quality American Muscle Car that is ready to enjoy! We do have the original window sticker and Marti Report proving this to be a real Bright blue with White interior Cougar Eliminator. The factory Door Tag information is as follows: 65A: 2DR HT Color 6: Bright Blue Metallic EA Trim: White 17F Date: June 17th DSO 42: St Louis AXEL 9: 3.25-1 Trans X: Automatic FMX
